PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Samuel J. Cadden Chapel, located on a hillside site in the heart of Clemson University's campus, provides a place for prayer and introspection for the Clemson University community.  The all-faiths Chapel features natural materials, such as mass timber, brick, and stone, to create and a simple, elegant form that feels warm and welcoming to all who visit.  The upper Assembly space seats 120; a lower garden level includes two private prayer rooms, and a gallery space which opens to a hillside garden surrounding the Chapel.
